14.10 || HOW TO READ MASTERPIECES "Three stories about the adventures of Zeus in art"
How often do we visit museums all over the world, but, alas, not always exactly
know about the event the artist presents us? Although believe me, is not
difficult to learn to read masterpieces, but very exciting!
All the world geniuses of "old-school" art were actually mostly
inspired by only three main themes - the stories of the Old Testament, the New
Testament and ancient mythology.
It is believed that almost 90% of the paintings of "old masters" are
devoted to these three themes.
During the lecture, we will remember three myths about Zeus, learn to easily
find the main god of Olympus in painting, and also see how the same myth was
shown by different masters - from Rembrandt to Salvador Dali.
Believe me, after this lecture, your trips to museums will be very different,
and you will immediately want to share your discoveries with your loved ones!

09.09 || Deciphering PUSHKIN.
It will be a literary evening!
Many poems, a careful reading of familiar fragments and an attempt to unravel
the non-obvious meanings that permeate Pushkin's works.
Pushkin often resorted to the allegorical language of the parable, which
requires not only the reader's attention, but also contemplation.
We will talk about love, passion, jealousy, play, pain, disappointment,
boredom, and deception.
We will talk about the time and work of the poet. We will try to understand and
decipher the context of his works.
Maybe his "wondrous moment" is not about A. Kern; perhaps it has
another addressee... What woman did he want to see in the last moments of his
life and whose kiss he took with him? Why there are so many mysteries around
this man and how we can change ourselves by solving these mysteries. ⠀

08.07 || PAUL CEZANNE – A True Father of Modern Art
“The Hermit
from Aix”, “a painter by nature”, “the true father of modern art” - this is
what his contemporaries and arts people of the later times said about Paul
Cezanne (1839 - 1906). ⠀
During his lifetime, only his fellow painters appreciated the master, and far from all of them. However, at the beginning of the 20th century, young artists discovered Cezanne. ⠀ ⠀
Not a single prominent modernist artist, like Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Fernand Leger, Pablo Picasso and many others was immune to be high on Cezanne. ⠀⠀
Art historians of the early twentieth century believed that the influence of Cezanne took place among young people on an enormous scale and was almost religious in nature. It was a particular view of the world. ⠀ ⠀⠀
As a result, they even talked about the Cézanne sect, consisting of fanatical enthusiasts and imitators of his art. ⠀
How did it turn out that it was Paul Cezanne who so seriously affected the art of the twentieth century, who made most of his “discoveries” far from Paris, in the south of France, in his native Aix? What is the essence of these discoveries that modernists have adopted? Where is this Cezanne’s trace in the art of the twentieth century? You will learn about all this, as well as about the master himself, about his painting, about the favourite plots of his artworks in this lecture. ⠀
